Knitting + Yoga Retreat Schedule

Thursday

1:00 pm – 3:30 pm – arrival, check-in, get settled, start breathing, bending, knitting

4:00 pm – Yoga with Kquvien DeWeese

6:00 pm – dinner

8:00 pm – Whiskeyknitting, talk about what folks want out of the retreat, tweak schedule if we need to.

 

Friday

7:00 am – Coffee and Tea On

7:30 – 8:30  am – Breakfast

8:30 – 9:45 am – Yoga with Kquvien

10:00 am – “Sticks and String: Knitting from the Beginning,” with Allison Adams

11:00 am – “Oh, $#&*! Fixing Knitting Mistakes,” with Theresa Vinson Stenersen

12:30 – 1:30  pm – lunch

1:30 – 4:00 pm – Field Trip to Fiber Farm (http://www.alpacasofmerrittfarm.com)

5:00 pm – Yoga with Kquvien

7:00 – 8:00 pm – dinner

8:00 pm – Each-One-Teach-One session. We can also pull out the spinning wheel and drop spindles for folks who are interested.

 

Saturday

7:00 am – Coffee and Tea On

7:30 – 8:30  am – Breakfast

8:30 – 9:45 am – Yoga with Kquvien

10:00 am – “Don’t Give Up! More Help for Beginners” with Allison

11:00 am – “Cast-Ons, Cast-Offs, Increases, and Decreases,” with Theresa

12:30 – 1:30  pm – Lunch

1:30 – 3:45 pm  Field Trip to Knitting Shop (http://www.silverthreadsyarn.com)

4:15  pm – Yoga with Kquvien

6:00 – 7:00 pm – Dinner

8:00 pm – Whiskeyknitting

 

Sunday

7:00 am – Coffee and Tea On

7:30 – 8:30  am – breakfast

8:30 – 9:45 am – Yoga with Kquvien

10:00 am – Concurrent Knitting Sessions:

“Cables Plain and Fancy” with Theresa

“I Feel Like I’m Knitting With My Feet! Getting Started with Stranded Colorwork,” with Allison

Check out by noon and say farewell
